Raspberry-honey Ginger London Broil

This was really good! We have really been into the farmers market lately and we found an amazing booth that sells creamy Delicious mouth watering honey! The company is Eden's Nectar (http://Edensnectar.com) We have tried the cinnamon creamy honey and the raspberry creamy honey... TO DIE FOR!!!!!! In this recipe we used the raspberry with some ginger and coated the London broil with it! We stuck it in our trusty cast iron pan and threw it in the oven! Shane served it with a soy-sesame rice! Of course we needed our veggies so we had some stir-fry style veggies, broccoli, green beans and red bell pepper! YUMM!!! Happy eating to ya!

Strawberry Rhubarb Meatballs! YUM

MMMM! This recipe was my Idea (Mandi!) I LOVE sweet Swedish meatballs and I wanted Shane to make them a little different. So we went to the only people we trust to make an amazing meatball! Paulie O's Italian Gourmet (http://paulieositaliangourmet.com/) At our local farmers market! Then we went to our favorite Greek Goddess to get the Strawberry Rhubarb Preserves ALECA'S KOUZINA! (http://www.alecaskouzina.com/)When we came home Shane combined the two SO perfectly! It was the perfect amount of sweetness to tickle our taste buds! AMAZING! Then we served it with a fresh baguette, fresh sliced Avocado, and creamy Havarti cheese! If you'd like this recipe or any other one please see the contact info and email us! Happy eating to ya!

Creamy Pasta with Tomato Herb Sausage

Mascarpone cheese is an amazing gift to the chef. Creamy, subtle, with just a hint of sweet, and a dash of tangy.

I have some left over basil, spinch, and grape tomatoes from the last dish I cooked so I came up with this dish. Used some sweet Marsala along with a few other ingredients including a fabulous tomato herb sausage we found at the local grocery store.

It turned out exactly the way I wanted it.

If anyone is interested in the recipe please let me know. Also I am debating on whether or not to put recipes back up. I figured if someone liked the way a dish looked then they could ask me for the recipe but Mandi says people just want to see it up. I am not sure what I am going to do though.

Na an't exactly pizza

Mandi and I love to go to local fresh markets to see what they have on hand. Today we went back to a market that we love. The people we have met and the products they make are to die for. We are so very thankful that these folks are trying to keep the spirit of great cuisine alive. Today we decided to try some Italian sausage from Paulie O's Italian Gourmet. After eating their out of this world spicy Italian sausage we knew we had to make create a dish for it. We wanted something easy so here is what we came up with.

Naan bread, spicy Italian sausage, goat cheese, mozzarella, grape tomatoes, olive oil, and some oregano baked to perfection. The Italian sausage made this dish. The right amount of meat, fat, herbs and spices make these sausages out of this world. If you live in the area and want to try them out I will post their info at the end of this entry.

We accompanied the Naan with a spinach and basil pasta. We took some fresh basil, fresh spinach leaves, grape tomatoes, fresh diced garlic, a sprinkle of oregano, and sauted everything in some butter. Mandi threw in some whole wheat penne paste and topped it off with feta cheese and voila!
